Institute for Communicative and Cognitive Neurosciences (ICCONS) is a Grant-in-aid autonomous institution under the control of Health and Family Welfare Department of Kerala.This Institute aims to establish with a novel perspective of systematic and scientific approach to the comprehensive management, rehabilitation and prevention of a devastating group of disabilities of cognition, language, memory and other non communicable neurological disorders that affect mankind, from infancy to the elderly ie. Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) Specific learning disorder, Intellectual disability, Cerebral Palsy, Childhood epilepsies & related complications, behavioral disorders of children, other single and multiple congenital anomalies, aphasia in adults following stroke or trauma, dementia and other neuro-degenerative disorders of the elderly. The clinical and academic activities of the institute is managed by a multidisciplinary team comprised of Neurologist , physiotherapist, speech language pathologist, Audiologist, clinical psychologist , clinical linguist and special educators.
