Registration Process
The details of the patient including case history and the socio economic data are collected at the time of registration. After the data collection and issuuance of an ID number, the patient is taken for general consultation usually at the nurology department or to various departments depending upon the chief complaint(s) . A multi discipilinary approach based on DSM 5 and ICD 10 is followed up for differential dignosiis and follow up treatments. There may be cases which require continual treatment and support in special education/ physiotherapy for more than 5 years.The patients who requie special therapies , a date will be given in advance .Consultation at the nurology is provided at 2 days a week .The fee collected from patients is nominal and varies according to the socio economic background .Depending on the income of the family, it ranges from Rs. 100/ to 250/-- ,No special fee is collected from Non Resident Indians at present - The fee for therapy is Rs.40 / 60 / 80 based on the family income data provided.
No residential classes are provided now.Online courses and classes are provided for patients with a need for special education / remedial intervention.No special fee is collected for the purpose.
The hospital has approximately regisered 22000 patients till date.Regular OPD services are available at NUROLOGY and GEN MEDICINE ,AUDIOLOGY / SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY,CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY,PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION UNIT.
