10. Management / Rehabilitation process
ICCONS claims that the rehabiliation and management of the dosorders are formulated and updated accordint to WHO protocol based on ICDIH-1( INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATION OF IMPAIRMENT DISABILTIES AND HANDICAPS),ICIDH 2 AND ICF -aims at updating existing rehabiliation management and remediation in accordance with socio cultural situations.
(1) generation of manpower for the service of the cognitive and communicative disorders theough regular , long term / short term tarining ptogrammes (2 )collaboration with national / international institutions / NGOs/ working in similiar areas to achieve the general objectives .
OUR OBSERVATION :
Rehabilitation programmes are developed through a collaborative approach between parents and professionals
SLD - differetial diagnosis- whether comobidites exist-vaious therapies needed -
Therapy: Depending on the learning disorder , some children might benefit from therapy. For example, speech therapy can help children who have language disabilities. Occupational therapy might help improve the motor skills of a child who has writing problems / Dyspraxia.
SPECIAL EDUCATION-RESIDENTIAL AND ONLINE : Parental training is given through meetings on Saturdays- Invidual attention is given on all work days.Vocational training is an imperical part of rehabilation.
ASD ,DYSPRAXIA : A comprehensive rehabilitation program for ASD and Dyspraxia @ICCONS includes speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, educational support, plus a number of other interventions to help children and parents.
